Chapter 48: Knowing a Little Street Dance Will Make You Go Wild
As the crowd chattered amongst themselves, Fang Chang's expression grew increasingly strange.
Wait, was the attraction to hatred inherent in his destiny only effective against those destined for greatness? Did it also work on these people?
Otherwise, where did they get the audacity to be so arrogant?
Fang Chang sat there, with Ku Duo standing behind him, practically wearing a sign that read "Don't mess with me."
Seeing Fang Chang remain silent, Fu Han said in a deep voice, "Did you hear that? This money belongs to Lanlan. Hand it over, or I'll go find the law enforcement."
Lanlan sat there, her face filled with conflicting emotions.
She tried to speak several times, but her classmates silenced her.
For a moment, she was completely at a loss for how to react.
Hearing Fu Han's slightly commanding tone, Fang Chang chuckled: "Want money? I thought you were a simp, but it seems you're not."
"Because simps aren't as stupid as you."
"What simp?!"
Fu Han's face flushed red: "I'm not a simp! I'm devoted, I've been pursuing Lanlan all along! Do you think I'm like you?"
"You are indeed different from me."
Saying this, Fang Chang turned to Ku Duo: "Go, clear the area."
"Yes, young master!"
Ku Duo didn't waste any words, immediately taking out his phone to make contact. As Fang Chang's personal bodyguard, Ku Duo's duties weren't simply about taking action.
This coffee shop was very famous in Suzhou. Although it wasn't owned by the Fang family, a simple contact with the group would quickly reveal who owned it.
Not long after, the coffee shop manager received a call, his face filled with terror.
After hanging up, he didn't have time to think and immediately arranged for people to clear the area.
"Excuse me, sir, we're temporarily closed. Of course, today's purchase is completely free, plus you'll receive a discount card and three more chances to get a free meal!"
Today's purchase is free, and they're even giving away three free meals.
It's practically a three-times refund.
This instantly calmed the initially angry customers.
Their attitude was excellent, and they even offered compensation; why not oblige them?
Soon, only Fang Chang's table and his group remained in the café.
Lanlan's classmates, seeing the scene before them, couldn't help but panic.
They had been chatting so enthusiastically, but now the café was clearing the area; what if they encountered some danger…?
Two of the classmates half-stood up, seemingly wanting to leave, but the manager had already pulled down the roller shutter.
Fang Chang looked at the group in front of him and chuckled, "Come on, we can talk now. What were you saying earlier?"
"You, you better not do anything rash!"
A girl stammered, "This is a society governed by law, and there are many of us! No, we're not afraid of you!"
Hearing this, Fu Han felt emboldened.
He wanted to show Lan Lan his responsibility.
He stood up, shielding Lan Lan behind him, and said to Fang Chang in a deep voice, "What is it that you need me to..."
Thump!
Before Fu Han could finish speaking, Fang Chang kicked him in the stomach, sending him staggering back several steps until he collapsed to the ground, clutching his stomach.
The suffocating feeling made Fu Han's eyes widen, and veins bulged on his forehead.
Seeing this, the other students shouted in unison, "What right do you have to hit me..."
Before they could finish, they saw Ku Duo step forward, and the words they wanted to say were swallowed back.
Fu Han's stomach was writhing in pain, the suffocating feeling making him repeatedly pound the ground, his mouth agape, desperately needing air.
Seeing Fu Han struggling, Fang Chang slowly stepped forward, his tone strange, "You think you're so cool just because you know a little street dance!"
"What were you going to say? Something that you'd have to take the blame for, right? That's going to be terrible, so hold back."
"Trying to morally blackmail me! First of all, I have to have morals! When you question me, didn't you even bother to find out what kind of person I am?"
Fu Han had calmed down a little by now, and his eyes were filled with fear as he looked up at Fang Chang.
No one expected Fang Chang to suddenly attack!
Fu Han had originally planned to use moral blackmail to force Fang Chang to return the money, but Fang Chang simply cleared the area?
"I... Ah!"
Fu Han was about to say something when he let out a scream.
Fang Chang grabbed his hair and pulled his head close to his face: "If it were a few days ago, I might have just let you go."
"But now I suddenly understand. You people are like flies, one after another swarming around me. If I don't deal with you, won't you all be shitting on my head?"
Fu Han didn't understand what Fang Chang meant.
But he knew one thing: he was in trouble.
Fu Han grabbed Fang Chang's hands, trying to break free, but before he could, he felt a tremendous force and slammed into the table.
A broken coffee cup cut Fu Han's face, making him howl in pain.
Seeing Fang Chang approaching again, Fu Han, ignoring the pain in his body and face, cried out, "No, stop hitting me! I was wrong! I know I was wrong! I won't fight you for Lanlan anymore, she's yours!"
"You don't need to give me the money either! Please! Please!"
"Fu Han..."
Lanlan and her classmates looked at Fu Han with complicated expressions.
They hadn't expected Fu Han to be so different from what he'd said before.
He promised to help Lanlan escape her suffering, and that he would intervene if she persisted.
Intervene what? Beg for mercy on the ground?
"That's my money anyway."
Fang Chang looked down at Fu Han and said calmly, "The money is mine. I can give it to whomever I want, but if I don't want to give it, you can't take it from me."
"Ku Duo! Come here..."
With a loud crash!
Before Fang Chang could finish speaking, the roller shutter door made a loud noise, and then the entire door completely deformed.
Uniformed law enforcement officers rushed in.
The leader was a woman, dressed in a standard uniform. The dark fabric accentuated her tall and strong figure, a narrow belt cinching her waist, outlining her slender yet not frail physique.
Her features were exquisite and striking, with sharp, angular eyebrows, clear, bright almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and pale lips. Her dark hair was neatly tied into a high ponytail, a few stray strands falling beside her temples, adding to her air of valiant and capable spirit.
“Stop!”
The woman quickly walked to Lanlan's side, asking with concern, “Lanlan, are you alright?”
“Cousin…”
Lanlan breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing the woman arrive, and said gratefully, “I’m alright, it’s just that they…”
“You don’t need to say anything, I understand!”
The female enforcer interrupted Lanlan, then turned around and strode quickly to Fang Chang, saying in a deep voice, “Young Master Fang, I’ve long heard that you bully men and women and commit all sorts of evil deeds. Today, I’ve truly learned something new.”
“I hate spoiled rich kids like you the most. Sorry, come with me.”
