Chapter 6: You're already complaining a lot!
In the end, Fang Fan was taken upstairs by his mother.
Fang's father also left the villa due to company matters, leaving only Fang Yajun and a distressed-looking Fang Chang in the living room.
He was truly going crazy.
He clearly intended to escape, clearly didn't intend to follow the script.
But his actions had caused a misunderstanding.
He replayed the scene in his mind, and had to admit, it was incredibly dramatic!
No wonder Fang Fan misunderstood!
"Xiao Chang..."
Fang Yajun gently took Fang Chang's hand and helped him sit on the sofa.
"I know you've been worried that Xiao Fan will come back and take your place, afraid that your parents, even your second sister and I, won't love you anymore, right?"
"Even if we're not related by blood, the bond we've built over these past ten years isn't fake."
"Don't worry, Xiao Fan just came back, it's normal for him to be a little unsettled. Let me tell you a secret, your sister will always be on your side."
She blinked her eyes, as clear as autumn water, at Fang Yajun beside her.
A warmth rose in Fang Chang's heart, but he quickly suppressed it!
He wanted to leave; after all, given his fate, in a world with a chosen one, surviving even three chapters would be a miracle!
However, for now, he needed to appease Fang Yajun.
He could always find a chance to escape later!
Thinking this, Fang Chang forced a smile, his facial muscles tensing: "Sister, I know. If you have work, go ahead and do it. I'll go upstairs and rest a bit more."
"Hmm..."
Fang Yajun ruffled Fang Chang's hair and spoke again: "By the way, you often go out alone, and you're so kind. If you encounter danger, you might not even have time to escape, so I found you a bodyguard."
As she spoke, Fang Yajun looked towards the door.
"Come in."
With Fang Yajun's voice, the door opened, and a burly man with a stoic appearance walked in.
Huh?!
Fang Chang's pupils constricted.
This wasn't a bodyguard; this was clearly someone trying to "steal a spy"!
He couldn't even sneak away?
The burly man walked step by step to Fang Chang and bowed respectfully.
"Young Master, my name is Fang Yi. From now on, I'll protect your safety! Don't worry, I'm very capable and I'm not afraid of pain."
Fang Yajun said softly, "Xiao Chang, are you satisfied with this bodyguard? If it's not enough, I'll prepare a few more for you..."
"Enough! Enough!"
Before Fang Yajun could finish speaking, Fang Chang interrupted her.
He looked at the man named Fang Yi in front of him, and with a thought, a panel instantly appeared before him.
Name: Fang Yi
Fate: Stubborn, a cursed loner, loyal, 100% able to catch a blade bare-handed...
Stubborn is the first fate? Just how stubborn is he?
And that cursed lone star…
Even someone with a destiny bestowed upon them couldn't suppress him!
And what about Fang Chang himself?
A minor villain's fate, at most with the added difficulty of being killed, could he possibly withstand a cursed lone star?
“Xiao Chang, from now on, Fang Yi will protect you every step of the way. Don't worry, he's our family's strongest bodyguard. I've spoken to Mom and Dad, and they've agreed to let him stay with you.”
“Sister…”
Fang Chang managed to stammer, "Actually, I don't really need bodyguards, so maybe..."
*Swish!*
Before Fang Chang could finish speaking, Fang Yi had already pulled out a short knife.
This sight terrified Fang Chang.
"You silly fool! What are you doing? I'm your young master! You think you can use a knife?!"
Fang Yi didn't point the knife at Fang Chang; instead, he held it to his own neck, then said seriously, "Young master, my existence is to protect you. If you don't want me, I'll commit suicide!"
Fang Yajun watched this scene without any intention of stopping him.
Hearing Fang Yi threaten suicide, Fang Chang sat up straight, a cold smile appearing on his face.
Die, so be it. Wouldn't it be better if he died? He could use the bloodshed as an excuse to tell Fang Yajun that he had psychological trauma and wouldn't be suitable for bodyguards anymore.
Then he'd have a chance to leave this place, right?
*Thud...*
The sharp short knife sliced through Fang Yi's dark skin.
"Wait!!!"
Seeing Fang Yi about to actually strike, Fang Chang shouted to stop him.
But Fang Yi, quick to act, stopped even faster! He raised his other hand, extending his thumb and forefinger to pinch the blade, preventing his throat from being slit open.
Watching the blood flow down Fang Yi's collar, Fang Chang said irritably, "Are you serious?! Are you sick? Always talking about dying?"
Seeing Fang Chang stop Fang Yi's suicide attempt, Fang Yajun smiled.
She knew Fang Chang was kind-hearted and would never let Fang Yi commit suicide.
Faced with Fang Chang's question, Fang Yi replied earnestly, "Young Master, if you need Fang Yi, Fang Yi will live; if you don't need him, Fang Yi will die!"
What a stubborn fool!
Fang Chang cursed under his breath, then said irritably, "I need you! I need you so much! Live well, and don't keep talking about dying next time. I'm squeamish about blood."
"Yes, Young Master!"
Fang Yi straightened up, his eyes bright and alert, seemingly unaffected by the small wound.
"By the way, Xiao Chang..."
Fang Yajun seemed to remember something and asked softly, "You called him 'Big Fool Chun' just now? That name seems quite fitting. He's an orphan adopted by our Fang family, he doesn't have a name. You can call him that if you like."
"Then call him... no!"
Fang Chang had actually intended to call Fang Yi "Big Fool Chun," but then a wicked idea flashed into his mind.
He looked at Fang Yi and said, word by word, "Don't call him 'Big Fool Chun' anymore. From now on, you'll be called 'Bitter Delight'."
"Thank you for bestowing this name upon me, Young Master! From now on, I'll be called Fang Bitter Delight!"
Fang Yi... no, it should be called Fang Bitter Delight, nodded, his expression filled with gratitude.
"So much suffering?"
Fang Yajun's beautiful eyes flickered, clearly understanding Fang Chang's intention, and she couldn't help but cover her mouth and chuckle.
Fang Chang's name was given by his parents because they hoped he would live a long and healthy life; they hadn't thought much about it.
Now it seemed Fang Chang would care a lot about this name.
"Alright, Fang...so much suffering."
Fang Yajun originally wanted to stay a little longer, but her phone had been ringing non-stop since earlier.
Reluctantly, she got up to leave.
"From now on, you'll be taking care of the Second Young Master. Remember, you must stay by his side at all times, or you know the consequences."
"Yes, Miss!"
Ku Duo nodded, his face grave. "Even if I die a horrible death, I will not leave the Young Master's side!"
Fang Chang: "..."
Thank you so much!
Only after hearing Ku Duo's reply did Fang Ya Jun leave, giving Fang Chang a warm hug before she left.
